In a world that’s so often full of sadness, pain, and ugliness, it’s so important to have a place to retreat to. A place that’s full of beauty, laughter, and, above all, love. For some of us we’re very lucky to find that our place actually turns out to be a person. Andrea and Earin have been each other’s safe haven for a long time, and at their Wedgewood Mountain View Ranch wedding they made it officially official.
Andrea and Earin might be a match made in heaven, but they also have very different styles. For their wedding day their unique tastes were so clearly reflected and juxtaposed and I JUST FREAKING LOVE IT. On the left, Andrea’s BLING BLING, hot pink hot heels, and her vows in her loopy, romantic hand writing. On the right the same beautifully broken in boots Earin wore to their frozen engagement session, her stunning and simple ring, and her vows written in a clean and straightforward hand.
One matching thing they both wore all day long? Big, big smiles. Yep, there was no missing the joy filling them both up from start to finish.
A first for me at Andrea and Earin’s wedding was their dual parent first look. Earin’s mom and Andrea’s dad both attended their nuptials. They also both deserved to have a special moment with their daughter on their wedding day, amiright? Naturally, it did not disappoint.
You can’t ask for a more perfect Colorado sky for this Wedgewood Mountain View Ranch wedding. Our state’s weather is fickle, but this July day was everything it should have been. Colorful Colorado lived up to her nickname (and complimented the wedding colors perfectly).
If you’ve seen Andrea and Earin’s engagement session blog then you already know about the made up illness I diagnosed them with. The symptoms were fortunately in full force all day long. All the laughter and all the smiles over here, folks.
Wether they’re laughing their hearts out per ushe out or enjoying a rare moment of quiet and peace, these two people are absolutely gorgeous.
A second trait Andrea and Earin share is a passion for the good stuff. Clearly by “the good stuff” I mean coffee. They named each table after a kind of coffee – THAT’S how much they love it.
In addition to their coffee, they took their donut hunt seriously for their wedding. I *might* have sent them a list of suggestions for the best donut options for their big day after our first meeting. They finally settled on Parker Donut house, and it was clearly the perfect choice.
Continuing their brightly colored wedding theme, they also had their guests sign their non-traditional guest book. Feathers filled with messages of love adorned the dream catcher they’ll hang in their home together.
I’ve shot a LOT of different reception exits over the years so I have some experience to share. Some successful, some not so successful, some moderately dangerous (*cough* drunk people with fire *cough cough*). I have NEVER witnessed a bubble exit like this one. If you’re looking for something dramatic and fun that also actually works and won’t send people to the hospital with third degree burns, take a page out of Earin and Andrea’s book and hit Target for some bubble guns. SO GOOD.
Congratulations Andrea and Earin! It’s been a privilege getting to know you both IRL and by stalking you avidly on social media over the last few months. (Don’t expect that to stop btw.) Every time I look at your wedding photos they put a stupid grin on my face. Your love is so big and so beautiful, it shines on every one around you, and we’re blessed to see it. May you celebrate decades of life together and may you never, ever be cured of true-love-atosis.
