Tanya and Brian : The Vineyards At Chappel Lodge

Happy summer, everyone! If the heat is getting you down, I happen to have the cure right here. While the Texas heat may have been in full swing, Tanya and Brian’s wedding at The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge was everything I love about Texas summer. Lucious vineyards? Check. Huge live oaks with gracious, flowing branches? Check. Vivid blue skies? You know it. And, of course, the classic cicada soundtrack. From the moment I arrived at this picturesque venue just outside Austin, I knew this day was going to be something truly special.

**I’ve included a few video frames throughout the blog for your viewing pleasure, but be sure to watch their highlight film at the top of the post  for the full effect! (And make sure to set it at 1080 P!)**

Tanya and Brian met later in life, but as this couple is fond of noting, some things are worth the wait. Tanya almost didn’t go on their first date because she knew she’d be traveling a lot over the next few months, but decided to take a chance. And because she did now the two get to share their love of travel, including the trip to Germany where Brian proposed on a snowy mountain top.

Brian is a devoted father to his two sons, and his commitment to caring for them and focus on family is one of Tanya’s favorite things about him. The joy filled relationship this family of four share was on full display throughout the day.

The Ceremony

Brian couldn’t hide his excitement as he waited for Tanya to walk down the aisle. And Tanya was an absolute vision in her elegant lace gown. Perhaps the most touching moment of all was when Brian expression as Tanya walked down the aisle towards him. It was a raw, emotional moment that spoke volumes about their love and the journey they had taken to get to this day. When Brian saw her, you could see the love and admiration in his eyes—it was a moment that just made your heart swell. (Check out their video for the full effect!)

The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony. Surrounded by majestic live oaks and the stunning vineyards, it felt like we were in our own little paradise. Fran Salmons from Asher and Anchor did an impeccable job planning every detail, ensuring everything flowed seamlessly.

The Reception

As guests mingled during the cocktail hour in the charming courtyard, the cicadas provided the soundtrack of a perfect summer day. Vestals Catering served up delicious cocktails that were just what everyone needed to cool off in the Texas heat. The flavor celebration didn’t stop when the food was served either! And the service from every member of Vestals was impeccable.

Belle Soul Florals outdid themselves with vibrant summer blooms that adorned every corner. The flower chandelier above the dancefloor was breathtaking. It literally stopped guests in their tracks! It was like something out of a fairytale!

The evening was filled with laughter and heartfelt toasts. The recitation of Maya Angelou’s poem “Touched by an Angel” by Tanya’s long time friend Kathleen is the audio you can hear in the opening of their film. Their wedding was intimate, with a shorter guest list, and it was obvious that every single person in attendance was important to Brian and Tanya.

During the reception, Toast Entertainment kept the party going with music that got everyone on their feet. And let me tell you, Tanya’s killer dance moves stole the show! The couple was even kind enough to provide a basket of “dancing shoes” for their guests. And it didn’t take long for the heels to come off!

Happily Ever After

Tanya and Brian finished off their night with a private and oh-so-romantic last dance. Finally their guests sent them off with sparklers and well-wishes to start their next chapter.

Reflecting on Tanya and Brian’s wedding, I am reminded of how beautiful love can be, especially when shared with those closest to you. The day was not just about two people coming together in marriage, but about the celebration of a love that had waited patiently for the perfect moment.

Congratulations once again to Tanya and Brian. Thank you for allowing Windblown Photo and Video to be a part of your special day and for trusting Nate and I to capture these precious memories.
