Tucson Backyard Wedding

After shooting Tabby and Brandon’s Tucson backyard wedding, my second for the month, I’m starting to think that Tucsonites (Tucsonians?) have the best backyards in the country. Seriously. Gorgeous landscaping, resort style pools, tiki bars?! I’ll just move in and never leave, okay thanks.

Besides the amazing backyard Tabby’s mom had the dreamiest light in her bedroom; the perfect setting for putting on The Dress. I loved Tabby’s elegant and natural style. She was literally head to toe lovely with sweet succulents in her hair, an oh-so-pretty vintage style garter, and delicate pearl sandals. Brandon’s no slouch in the style department either and I lost count of the number of people that complimented him on his fabulous floral tie.

The bride and groom both filled this wedding with details unique to them. From their tiny wooden ring box carved with their initials to the sweet little bush they planted as a symbol of their lasting and ever growing love, each moment was filled with personal meaning. Brandon is a professional chef and made all of their amazing food himself, as well as the adorable tiny hand pies. (And yes, I did drool a little as I photographed them.) I love when couples make their day about THEM! Who they are and what they’re passionate about, what brought them together, and what will keep them together for the rest of their lives. That’s what it’s all about.
