Gosh, my job is so hard. Sometimes I have to photograph FIVE gorgeous kids all in the same session. I mean, how do you divide your attention between all these these stunning blue eyes?! Every Denver Family Photographer should be this lucky. What’s even better is that I’ve had the privilege of seeing these kiddos grow up so far (since there were only two of them!), and they just continue to impress me with their kindness, stellar manners, and gregarious personalities. Mom and Dad might be outnumbered, but they’re doing a pretty darn incredible job.
Sometimes it’s quite a challenge getting everyone to look at the camera with this many sets of little eyes, but I always try to get a few of those more traditional shots. They’re important too!
I have to admit though, those “everyone look here!” photos aren’t my favorite. I’m partial to the shots where y’all act like I’m not even there. I don’t just want photos of you, I want photos of who you are!
Since this was my first time meeting the newest addition, Ms. Ellie, I had to include a few extras of just her and OH MY GOSH HER ADORABLE BABY PIGGIES!!!! What do you mean obsessed? Am not. Please excuse me while I find some tiny piggies to tickle and kiss. I need a fix.
Delaney Farm Park in Aurora is such a cool little place for a photo shoot! They have incredible produce too. If you’d like to learn more about their program you can visit their website here!
I love seeing dads with their kids! My own hubby is so good at playing with our boys; he connects with them in his own special way and they have their own special relationship. It’s wonderful seeing that come into play in other families too!
Mommin’ ain’t easy. But this lady sure makes it look good. She’s a whiz in the kitchen, always posting on Facebook to share her trials and success in cooking with the rest of us who are less confident. She’s a killer couponer and keeps all five of these kiddos well fed and sharply dressed, not to mention helping them grow into happy and charming little people who love each other. I feel so lucky to have met her!
We had to sneak in a few of Mom and Dad at the end of course! I tried to ask them when the last time they went to the movies was and at first they couldn’t even remember. But nothing makes a challenging job (like parenting) a lot of fun like having an awesome partner to share it with. A good sense of humor doesn’t hurt things either, and these two have that in spades.
If you’re anything like the P family and you have awesome kids that need awesome photos with their parents (and, let’s face it, you are really, totally awesome if this is you), then head over to the contact page and lets get you on the books before those kids get any bigger!
