For Brian and Jessica’s Western Colorado wedding session they wanted to include their stunning mare Cowgirl, and let me tell you, it was pure magic! Jessica trains, shows, and competes with a barn full of gorgeous horses, but Cowgirl is definitely special. Not only is she a beautiful example of the American Quarter Horse standard, she’s got a sweet and funny personality to go with it. She was happy to cooperate with our silly human photo shoot, but wasn’t quite sure why she wasn’t allowed to eat the tulips. I mean, they were obviously there for her, right? A wedding with a horse or other pet can add an extra layer of planning and preparation but it also adds another dimension of meaning and emotion to your special day. After all, they are part of our families too! I know that Jessica, Brian, and their daughter Payton spend more of their time outside with the horses in boots and jeans than they do just about anywhere else, so it was a natural choice to shoot their western bridal session in the place that means so much to them. It’s always my goal to provide my clients with more than just beautiful artwork; I want to capture memories filled with authentic emotion to last a lifetime! Mission accomplished here!
